Its walking the walk not talking the talk
What you do does not define who you are. It’s about knowing God. Yes we are called to do good works and our faith involves action, but the fundamental foundation of who we are is who we know. Without relationship with God our actions are meaningless.
Attending church on a Sunday doesn’t make you a Christian, praying doesn’t make you a Christian, being Christened doesn’t make you a Christian. As I mentioned in a previous blog there are many people today that call themselves Christian, but actually the only thing that makes you a Christian is following Christ and doing life His way. That’s a fact. The Christian walk is a way of life, it’s a 24/7 lifestyle.
Secondly understanding His will is key, another way of putting it is knowing what he wants us to do and doing that.
Its better to burst your bubble now than when you get to heaven and find Christ say I didn’t know you. Christ wants a relationship with you, He wants you to know him. He doesn’t need your religious acts or works, He wants your heart. He gave His life for you, in return He asks you to give yours by living life for Him.
May you come to know the love of God, may you accept Jesus as Lord, may you live life following Him and may you do the will of the Father
