How does it make you feel about yourself to hear you’re completely adopted and accepted by God?

It makes me feel special, I know some of you are going ahhhh isn’t that nice. We often use that word in a jokey sense.

The truth is we all want acceptance and we look to get it from all the things around us, friends, family, work colleagues and society. We end up searching in the wrong places for acceptance! It’s like we are trying to fit a round brick into a star-shaped whole, it never truly fits or satisfies.

True acceptance comes from the one who made us! And I love it!

The fact that we are adopted makes it even better, we are not just friends of God we are family! This is so much deeper and intimate. If only we would embrace it!
