Day Twenty Three: Developing a rule of life

So as I continue to study Benedict’s way of life I have been encouraged to add the next element to mine.

God is present with us always. As a reminder, Benedict would have a tangible reminder on his person.

So with that in mind, I have bought a small Olive Wood Cross from Jerusalem. I will always keep it in my pocket as a reminder of Gods presence. Whenever i feel it, i will pause, and turn my heart to God in thought and sometimes prayer.

For some a piece of jewellery may also do the same.
